About the association
A professional body of managers, engineers and entrepreneurs serving the Tarapur–Boisar industrial belt for over twenty-five years.
Tarapur Management Association (TMA) was founded on 14 February 1999 by managers of the industries in the Tarapur MIDC area, one of the largest chemical and pharmaceutical clusters in Maharashtra. Since 2000 it has been a Local Management Association of the All India Management Association.
TMA runs management development programmes, talks, seminars and industrial visits for working professionals; operates TMA Institute of Management Studies (TIMS), which offers MSBTE-affiliated diplomas in industrial safety and environmental engineering; and brings together member organisations from across Boisar and Palghar.
AIMA has recognised TMA as the Best Local Management Association twelve times. The association is an ISO 9001:2015 certified organisation and operates from Management House, Ameya Park, Boisar (W).
